Lancr provides an online verification platform for professional identities, with the following core services:

  • Identity verification via itsme and CBE
  • Verified professional profiles for freelancers
  • Anonymous rate benchmarking and market insights
  • Matching freelancers with assignments
  • Shareable verification badges and profiles
  • Integrations with external platforms and systems

4. Registration and Account

To use Lancr's services, you must create an account. You warrant that the information you provide during registration is accurate, complete, and up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must notify Lancr immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.

5. Accuracy of Information

While Lancr strives to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information on the platform, Lancr cannot guarantee that all information is correct, complete, or up to date at all times. The material on the platform is provided for informational purposes only.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Lancr platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the compilation thereof, is the property of Lancr BV or its licensors and is protected by Belgian and international copyright and intellectual property law.

7. Prohibited Use

When using the Lancr platform, it is prohibited to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Use the platform for unlawful purposes
  • Disrupt or impair the operation of the platform
  • Gain unauthorized access to systems or data
  • Violate the rights of third parties, including privacy and intellectual property rights
  • Use the platform to distribute spam, malware, or other harmful content
  • Collect data from other users without their consent
  • Circumvent or manipulate the verification system

8. Limitation of Liability

Lancr BV, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the platform
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Statements or conduct of third parties on the platform
  • Any other matter relating to the platform

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lancr BV, its directors, employees, and agents from and against all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and costs (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from or related to your use of the platform or your violation of these Terms.

10. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is declared invalid, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely approximates the purpose of the original provision.

11. Termination

Lancr may suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Belgian law. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be exclusively submitted to the competent courts of Antwerp, Belgium.

13. Changes to These Terms

Lancr reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by publishing the new terms on the platform and updating the "Last updated" date. By continuing to use the platform after such changes, you accept the revised Terms.
