Connecting-Expertise becomes first Lancr partner

Connecting-Expertise becomes first Lancr partner

Lancr and Connecting-Expertise are joining forces. The Belgian VMS platform becomes the first partner to integrate Lancr's verification data via the badge API. What does this mean in practice for freelancers and clients?

Who is Connecting-Expertise?

Connecting-Expertise is the leading VMS (Vendor Management System) platform in Belgium. The platform connects more than 6,500 freelancers and suppliers with more than 140 clients (Connecting-Expertise, 2025). Sectors range from IT and engineering to finance, HR and legal. The platform is part of the PIXID Group, a European leader in workforce management.

80% of projects published on the platform receive qualified candidates within 48 hours (Connecting-Expertise, 2025). Freelancers can register for free and respond to projects with no hidden costs.

What does the partnership involve?

Connecting-Expertise integrates Lancr's badge API into their platform. That means that once you've verified your identity and business on Lancr, that verification status automatically becomes visible to clients within the Connecting-Expertise ecosystem.

At launch, Layer of Trust 1 (Identity) becomes available via the API. As soon as Layer 2 (Reputation) and Layer 3 (Certification) go live, those levels get passed through as well. Clients see at a glance which freelancers are verified and at what level.

What does this mean for freelancers?

As a freelancer, you only need to verify once on Lancr. Your verified badge then works everywhere Lancr partners are active. No double registrations, no repeated screening. Verify once, trusted everywhere.

Freelancers with a verified badge are also better positioned in search results and get priority in matching. In a market where speed counts, that's a concrete advantage.

What does this mean for clients?

For clients working through Connecting-Expertise, the integration means less screening time and more certainty. The Lancr badge gives instant insight into a freelancer's verification status: identity verified via itsme, business checked via KBO, and later also references and certificates.

Launch planned for Q4 2026

The technical integration is in full preparation. The badge API will be made available with documentation and a sandbox environment for testing. Go-live for the first freelancers through the partnership is planned for Q4 2026.
